Exterior Finish and Construction this boat is a perfect blend of speed and style with focus towards fish-ability. The Hatteras 60 hull is resin-infused producing a more uniform hull thickness and providing an ideal resin to glass ratio. It is also one of the few boats today that provides a rich coat of protective polyurethane paint producing a hard outer surface that provides protection from those gel-coated porous surfaces found within other brands.

Salon

A sliding door accesses the salon where you'll find Hatteras' renowned L-shaped sofa, renowned for their comfort and attention to accessible rod storage. Built into the starboard bulkhead you'll find a 42" plasma TV with surround sound system and on the dinette bulkhead another 26" LCD TV. The interior wood features genuine satin cherry veneers with large frameless windows. For comfort linear valences distribute cooled air evenly throughout the salon and galley through the fluted wood cornices, eliminating hot and cold spots associated with overhead vents. Unique to this boat is a recessed stove top, three sub zero units and the microwave oven is vented to the outside. The interior salon and galley flooring is amtico vinyl strip to resemble hard wood flooring, without the maintenance. • The master stateroom is equipped with a walk around queen berth, with cedar lined storage underneath and for entertaining a 20” LCD TV. Bridge

• On the bridge, a full aray of electronics are hidden nicely in the peninsula, actuated console. Just forward of the console is additional seating and ample rod storage. To starboard is an additional seat with rod storage. Twin Murray Sea 19 teak helm chairs sit behind the console with a single additional teak seat back positioned to face forward or aft allowing flexibility while cruising or watching the baits, aft of the straight lounge. Hatteras' computer monitoring system monitors the ship's systems to include engine measurements, alarms and diagnostic tools, pump bilges and holding tanks with the push of a button. A Pipewelders full tower with polished pipe is included along with the following features: radar pod, riggers and spreader with center camera mount, and rocket launchers, Rupp triple spreaders and center rigger with BRAND NEW GLASS panel enclosure.

Engine/Mechanical

• The engine room provides a pump room for easy access to equipment and the bilges are painted with a high gloss urethane paint. A forced air induction system draws cooling air for the engine room from underneath the cockpit gunwales, reducing saltwater intrusion into the engine room. Attention to detail is evident in the many systems as you'll find rudder shelves made of pultruded fiberglass which is incredibility dense, strong and stiff material that will not corrode, rot, flex or break under strenuous use. Simply look at the size of the running gear and pay special attention to the duplicated systems throughout the boat.

Miscellaneous

• This boat is designed with longevity in mind as all stanchions and cleats are through bolted to aluminum backing plates that are encapsulated into solid fiberglass sections of the superstructure. Molded fiberglass UL approved tanks are placed between the stringers and glassed in place. All fuel tanks are constructed with a fireretardant resin, and exposed surfaces are coated with a fire-retardant intumescent paint. Bulkheads and stringers are fully tabbed into the hull itself and the stringer system is built of a closed cell polyurethane foam to provide for stiff longitudinal support with no fear of water intrusion.

Electrical Systems

Hatteras is known for their attention to detail, and wiring is one of their strongest points. All wiring is tin- coated and sealed in an insulation jacket. Wiring harnesses are tie-wrapped every 6 inches and secured every 18 inches with easy access. Wiring is color-coded and numbered at both terminal ends, and is well documented in the owner's manual. Go one step further to find their attention to detail in placement of dual light switches on both ends of the salon and companionway for convenience. Something you'll miss on other brands. The Hatteras 60 Convertible features a mezzanine cockpit, lightweight construction, tumblehome curvature in the hullsides and an exciting tournament edition option. This model also features tumblehome in the hullsides and a completely resin-infused hull, rather than one built up of layers of hand-laid fiberglass. The automated resin-infusion process produces a more uniform hull thickness from one hull to the next, as well as the most ideal glass-to-resin ratio. This one-two punch produces a boat that weighs significantly less because of the lowered resin content, while providing a more precise fit of bulkheads, stringers and other components for increased strength and durability. For the hard-core fishermen, the Hatteras 60 is also be available in a 60GT Tournament Edition. This three-stateroom two-head package includes an engine upgrade to 1,800 hp, custom hull color and a wraparound windshield styling element. The 60 Convertible features a luxurious salon with a comfortable L-shaped sofa with rod storage beneath, as well as an entertainment center with 42-inch plasma TV. Genuine wood veneers in either a high-gloss or satin finish provide a warm environment, complemented perfectly by any of the 15 standard décor schemes available from Hatteras' in-house design team. To provide convenience for the crew, the electrical distribution panel is located just inside the sliding door, easily accessed from the cockpit. The galley features two under-counter Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer units, with a third unit available as an option. A four-burner ceramic cooktop and microwave/convection oven provide plenty of food preparation options, while deep storage drawers in the galley's fascia offer an abundance of space. Amtico strip flooring and solid-surface countertops and backsplashes give the galley an elegant look with long-lasting durability. To starboard, a large dinette features an L-shaped lounge with storage underneath. The dining table features a solid-surface top with decorative pedestal. Belowdecks, the 60 is configured with three staterooms and two private heads, providing for ample storage for the rugged sportfishing enthusiast. Overnight tournament fishermen will appreciate the optional bow stateroom that utilizes crisscrossing bunks to maximize sleeping capacity in this 3/2 arrangement.
