Walkthrough

Boarding BREAKAWAY is either via the swim platform on a floating dock, either Aft Deck gate onto the Aft Deck or at either Galley door rail break.

Once on the swim platform there is a wide nonskid fixed platform with removable hoop rails, a hydraulic tender platform, a centerline Engine Room access and port and starboard steps to the Aft Deck.

The Aft Deck has a teak decking, fixed and loose seating, a TV, stairs to the Boat Deck and stairs to the Crew Area/Engine Room below.

The Salon has a center opening Trend door with a sunken bar to starboard and a couch and occasional chair to port.

Going forward is a dining table expandable with a leaf and ample storage, port, starboard and forward. Large house side windows flood the area with natural light.

The Galley is two steps up on centerline with full size appliances, a granite topped island, a dinette for several people, doors to the side deck and stairs to the Pilothouse. Again ample windows provide great ambient lighting.

Up to the Pilothouse the helm is slightly to port followed by a raised seating area with additional seating to starboard. All the way aft is a granite topped bar and a hinged door to the Boat Deck.

The Boat Deck offers an expansive deck area because of the relocation of the tender, offering alfresco dining, shade when desired, two electric grills and additional seating forward.

Forward to starboard in the Salon is the Day Head and access steps to the Accommodation Deck.

Below decks, aft is the king size Master with His and Her Heads, dual hanging lockers and ample drawers. Next forward to port is a queen size VIP with a private head and shower.

To starboard is a Guest Cabin with a tapered queen size berth with a private head and shower.

All the way forward is a queen size island berth with a private head and shower.

The Crew Area is easiest reached by the steps on the Aft Deck. The crew steps are behind a lockable door on the portside. Curved steps lead past a U Line slim refrigerator and a microwave.

A twin cabin with upper lower is at the base of the stairs.

To starboard is the Captain’s Cabin with an island double berth and plenty of storage.

The shared head is to port and includes a stall shower.

Aft are three steps to a centerline Pantograph door to the swim platform.

Salon/Dining Area

The Salon is entered via a split four panel curved Trend dark glass door with full drapes and Hunter Douglas shades. The carpet was new in 2019 and traffic areas are covered with a carpet runner. The interior joinery is a high gloss mahogany and shows beautifully.

Immediately to port is a blue leather reclining chair with a matching ottoman. A three light table lamp lies behind. Next forward is a three person white leather sofa with a glass and chrome coffee table lying in front.

To starboard starting aft is a sunken bar with three leather bar chairs facing outboard around a backlit onyx countertop. Behind the bar are three storage cabinets, a U Line drink fridge and a U Line icemaker. A round stainless steel bar sink is outboard undermounted in the onyx bar top.

Above the bar is a two glass door, three shelf, glass cabinet with a mirrored interior, lit from above.

Next forward is a popup 46” Samsung LED TV. Four large tinted windows port and starboard offer great ambient lighting. Hunter Douglas Duette shades give privacy when needed. Above is an intricate ceiling detail with 21 LED lights.

A Bose Lifestyle 35 AV storage system provides music and sound for the TV through a 5.1 channel speaker system and a hidden subwoofer. An Apple TV system is also in this area.

Open to the Salon is the Dining Area next forward. A round feathered mahogany high gloss table expands with a leaf to seat six. Four attractive white leather chairs with a chrome lattice chair back detail are arranged around the table. The Dining Area has port and starboard columns with storage below to separate this area from the Salon.

To port are four cabinets topped with matching onyx stone. To starboard are three additional storage cabinets with an onyx top.

Forward to port are four cabinets below with twin glass front curio cabinets above flanking an art niche that is lit from above.

On centerline is the Galley entrance. To starboard is the Day Head and steps to the accommodations below. The Dining Area has a mahogany and mirrored ceiling treatment with eight LED lights overhead, six additional overhead lights, digital AC controls, a central vacuum outlet and a CO detector round out the Salon/Dining Area features.

Air conditioning is delivered through a fluted soffit to both port and starboard with hidden LED rope lighting within.

Day Head

To starboard but around the corner in the Companionway is the entrance to the Day Head.

The bow front mahogany vanity has two storage cabinets below a granite countertop with an undermount china sink and upgraded faucet fixtures above.

The toilet is a Head Hunter full size model. The area above the sink and the overhead are mirrored. The sole is Carrera marble with granite diamond shaped insets. Also in the head are three LED lights, an AC vent and an exhaust fan. LED rope lights are in the toe kick off the vanity.

A rack of 10 Direct TV HD receivers are in two cabinets opposite the Day Head entrance.

Galley

The Galley is two steps up from the Salon going forward. This large area encompasses the forward end of the main deck and as so has many large windows, a dining settee and steps to the enclosed bridge area. Arranged principally to port, the dinette is forward are the stairs to above, aft. Two Pantograph doors lead to the side and Foredeck areas.

Pilothouse/Sky Lounge

Entered via steps from the starboard side the Pilothouse/Sky Lounge is bright airy and very nicely arranged.

The helm is forward to port. Two Pompanette black leather Platinum series helm chairs with fold down footrests are at the helm. A small desk with a drawer is outboard to port.

The planked sole matches the Galley below. Aft of the helm is a raised five person settee offering great visibility out the side windows. A kidney shaped granite table is on a stainless steel pedestal in front of the settee.

Behind the raised settee is a large granite bar with an undermount bar sink, glass front drink refrigerator, U Line icemaker, seven cabinet doors, four drawers and a popup 32 Samsung TV. Behind the bar is an electric window that lowers to open the bar area to the Boat Deck. Next inboard is the sliding glass door to the Boat Deck.

To starboard is a two door mahogany cabinet followed by a three person curved leather sofa.

Also in the Pilothouse/Sky Lounge are 13 overhead LED lights soffit type AC delivery, digital AC control, four stereo speakers, two opening overhead hatches with Ocean Air screens and a smoke and CO detector.

Accommodation Companionway

On the starboard side of forward area of the Dining Salon eight curved varnished steps with step lights lead to the lower accommodation deck.

At the bottom of the stairs is a stewardess locker with a U Line drink fridge within. The sole of this area is a planked wood sole matching the Galley Area.

Aft is the Master Suite, forward to port is the midship VIP Suite. To starboard is the Starboard Guest Suite and the all way forward is the Forward VIP Suite. Just before the Forward VIP is a door with a Whirlpool washer and separate dryer within.

Above are seven LED lights. Hatches in the sole below lead to various equipment access areas.

Master Cabin

Entered via the forward end and two carpeted steps down is the roomy Master with king size island berth with hinged storage below. An upholstered headboard with two reading lights are at the head of the berth. LED rope lights are in the toe kick.

Either side of the berth are three drawer mahogany nightstands with table lamps above.

To both port and starboard are bow front mahogany chests of twelve drawers each. Above on each side are three oval ports with the center screened port opening for escape or ventilation. The portholes are covered with Hunter Douglass Duette shades, an upholstered valance and an air conditioning soffit with LED rope lights within.

Forward to both port and starboard are two door arched door hanging lockers with cedar lining and auto lights. The starboard side has a large safe.

Centered at the foot of the berth is a Samsung 40” LED TV and a Bose 321 Harmony A/V receiver and an Apple TV in a double cabinet.

The His and Her Head arched doors are aft either side of the berth.

Also in this cabin are Bose mini speakers, a hidden subwoofer, hidden AC controls, a central vacuum outlet and a CO and smoke detector.

His Head

Upon entering the head there is an onyx topped L shaped vanity with an undermount china sink and upgraded wide spread fixtures. The bow front vanity has six mahogany high gloss doors and two drawers. Above are four mirrored medicine cabinet doors. The toilet is a Head Hunter jet head model. The sole is Crema Marafil marble with diamond pattern insets. The overhead is mirrored with seven LED lights. The head also has an AC vent and an exhaust fan.

The centered shared shower has twin clear glass doors and a sidelight. There is a handheld or wall mounted fixture and a seat as well as a two LED lights in the overhead. The shower is Crema marafil marble with mosaic tile accents. The shower includes a seat.

Her Head

Upon entering the head there is an onyx topped L shaped vanity with an undermount china sink and upgraded wide spread fixtures. The bow front vanity has four mahogany high gloss doors and two drawers and a vanity area. Above are four mirrored medicine cabinet doors. The toilet is a Head Hunter jet head model. The sole is Crema Marafil marble with diamond pattern insets. The overhead is mirrored with seven LED lights. The head also has an AC vent and an exhaust fan. Inboard is access to the shared shower.

Portside VIP

Entered via the forward end this cabin has a double berth off the aft mirrored bulkhead with an upholstered headboard centered. The berth hinges up to reveal a large storage area. LED rope lighting is at the toe kick. Twin three drawer nightstands flank the berth.

Above the berth are six mahogany cabinets and two LED reading lights. On the outboard bulkhead is a mahogany chest of four drawers and four cabinet doors.

Above is an opening oval portlight with pleated shades and an upholstered valance.

Further above are four more cabinet doors and the AC valance.

At the front of the berth is a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker behind an arched doorway. Also in this cabin is a Bose 321 Harmony A/V system, Bose speakers, five LED overhead lights, a CO monitor and a 32” Samsung LED TV.

Portside VIP Head

Entered via an arched door, the VIP Head has a bow front vanity with two doors below, a marble countertop with an undermount china sink and a single lever faucet.

Two mirrored medicine cabinets and a storage cabinet are above.

The toilet is a Head Hunter jet head set upon a Crema Marafil sole with insets to match the countertop.

The stall shower has tiled marble walls, a clear glass door and a handheld or wall mountable fixture with a light above.

Also in the head are three LED lights in the mirrored overhead, an AC vent and an exhaust fan.

There is a full size dressing mirror on the inside of the entry door.

Starboard Side Guest Cabin

The Starboard Guest Cabin has a queen berth facing forward with the outboard side against the bulkhead. It too raises on hydraulic shocks to reveal storage. LED rope lights are at the toe kick. Two LED reading lights are above. Outboard are two opening storage cuddies serving as a nightstand.

Above are five mahogany storage cabinets. At the foot of the berth outboard is a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker.

Inboard is a chest of four drawers with a built in Bose Harmony 321 A/V system. Above is a 22” Samsung LED TV.

Also in this cabin are three overhead LED lights, Bose stereo speaker and a door the private head.

Starboard Side VIP Head

Entered via an arched door, the VIP Head has a bow front vanity with one door below, a marble countertop with an undermount china sink and a single lever faucet.

Two mirrored medicine cabinets and a storage cabinet are above.

The toilet is a Head Hunter jet head set upon a Crema Marafil sole with insets to match the countertop. The countertop marble is grey with a Carene sole and inserts

The stall shower has tiled marble walls, a clear glass door with a side light and a handheld or wall mountable fixture with a light above.

Also in the head are three LED lights in the mirrored overhead, an AC vent and an exhaust fan.

There is a full size dressing mirror on the inside of the entry door.

VIP Cabin

All the way forward is the VIP Cabin with an island berth aft the forward bulkhead. The berth has both a drawer at the foot of the bed and hinged storage below. LED rope lights are at the toe kick. An upholstered headboard sits below the fully mirrored forward bulkhead. Two LED reading lights and an opening Bomar hatch with an Ocean Air sliding screen and sun cover are above.

Either side of the berth are built in mahogany shelves to serve as nightstands. Above on each side are four large cabinets with shelves within.

Twin cedar lined auto lit hanging lockers are aft. Also in this cabin are seven LED overhead lights, a Bose 321 Harmony A/V system with speakers and a subwoofer, a Samsung 32” LED TV, a CO detector and a smoke detector.

The entrance to the en suite head is aft to port.

VIP Cabin Head

Entered via an arched door, the VIP Head has a bow front vanity with two doors below, a marble countertop with an undermount china sink and a single lever faucet.

Two mirrored medicine cabinets and a storage cabinet are above.

The toilet is a Head Hunter jet head set upon a Crema Marafil sole with insets to match the countertop.

The stall shower has tiled marble walls, a clear glass door with a side light and a handheld or wall mountable fixture with a light above.

There is a full size dressing mirror on the inside of the entry door.

Crew Area

Reached from the steps on the Aft Deck. There are seven nonskid steps leading below. Along the way are a built in Kitchenaid microwave and a U Line drink fridge.

At the base of the stairs is Amtico flooring with a crew cabin to port.

The Engine Room access is forward, the Captain’s Cabin to starboard, and a crew head aft to port.

Further aft is a second Whirlpool washer dryer, a top opening GE chest freezer, storage shelves and the aft door to the swim platform, three steps up from the crew deck level.

Portside Cabin

Upper and lower bunks are arranged fore and aft on the outboard bulkhead. Each bunk has a reading light. The lower bunk has a nightstand. The upper bunk can be folded up when one person is using the cabin to give more space.

At the foot of the berth is a cedar lined four shelf locker and a Clarion AM/FM/CD stereo with two speakers. A Samsung 19” TV faces the berth. Also in this cabin are three overhead LED lights, a CO and smoke alarm and a carpeted sole.

 

Captain's Cabin

To starboard and entered from the centerline Companionway is the Captain’s Cabin with a double bunk off the outboard bulkhead. The berth lifts on shocks to reveal storage. Each side of the berth has a nightstand, the aft one with one drawer. Forward is a corner cabinet with four cabinet doors and a 19” Samsung TV. Aft is a cedar lined auto lit hanging locker, a cabinet and four drawers. Also in the cabin is a Bose 321 Harmony A/V system with speaker, five overhead LED lights and a smoke and CO alarm.

Crew Head

The private Crew Head has a bow front mahogany vanity with one cabinet below and an undermount china sink in the granite countertop above. Two mirrored medicine cabinet doors are above. The toilet is a Head Hunter jet head set upon a Crema Marafil marble sole with diamond inserts to match the countertop.

The raised stall shower has a clear sliding levan door, a handheld or wall mounted fixture and a light.

Also in the head is an AC vent, an exhaust vent and three overhead LED lights in the mirrored bulkhead.

A notable issue with Hatteras yachts of this age is the CO detector system which is an integral part of the intricate Hatteras monitoring system fail and replacement parts are no longer available. New style Xintex CO monitors (9) were installed tied into the shipboard Hatteras monitoring system with significant reprogramming required.
