The cockpit of “DESTINATION BLUE” is set up for the best of all worlds. Her owner custom built her to include everything a larger vessel would have but wanted to maintain the owner operator family style program. She has the optional transom seating on either side of the livewell. She has the finest designed dive door and ladder I have seen on a vessel like her. There is an electric grill on centerline with a freshwater sink. The Ice chipper dumps into a drawer that slides out and there is storage and fishbox access in the deck. The fishbox has adjustable temp refrigerator/freezer plates. Dive tank storage and a cockpit remote tank fill from a dive compressor are features not usually found on outboard vessel, but custom added to Destination Blue. Walkaround side decks make it easy and safe to get to the bow or handle lines.
Just two small steps up, you pass by a tackle storage center and freezer on your way to the spacious weather protected helm deck. You can relax in climate-controlled comfort on the large port dinette seating area. The helm deck is a great place to hang while underway or relax dockside. Custom overhead rod storage was added.
To starboard is the fully equipped helm station. With Yamaha Helm Master joystick controls, dynamic positioning system, bow thruster and power helm seat.
Navigation electronics include: (2) GARMIN 8622 Multifunction displays, 12KW 4” open array Garmin radar, Garmin GSD 25 Sonar package, Garmin Autopilot, XM SAT Weather (subscription required), ICOM VHF radio, FLIR night vision camera, Fusion head unit with JL Audio speaker system subwoofer and amp, GOST Nav Tracker monitoring system, Intellian i3 SAT dome (subscription required), (2) 22” LED light bars installed on hardtop with helm controls, Underwater camera, Tower Garmin 7607 and Icom VHF
The layout below is exceptional with two aft staterooms, a full head, a full galley and a fwd convertible dinette. The lower accommodations offer an incredible amount of natural light through skylights and hullside windows. Her décor is nautical, simple and tasteful. Teak and holly flooring, lightwood cabinetry and blue soft goods all blend well together.
The port aft stateroom has huge hullside windows, large sleeping berth for two, reading lights, a flat screen TV, storage and a hanging locker with direct access to the shared full head on board.
The starboard stateroom also has huge hull side windows for light and cool views. Her berth is twin size with reading lights, a TV and storage.
The galley is to starboard, and offers everything a shipboard gourmet would require. Tons of storage in lightwood cabinets, stainless steel fridge and freezer, solid surface countertops, single burner electric cooktop, microwave oven and sink.
All the way forward, below deck on “Destination Blue” there is a large comfortable dinette. A great place for a sit-down meal, card game or to watch a movie on the flat screen TV. The dinette table also drops down electrically to create additional sleeping berths.
The hardtop and powder coated low profile tower on Destination Blue is a fantastic custom feature. Her Bimini top was designed to drop to assist in height reduction for the GREAT LOOP great lakes travel and also comes as a huge bonus for South Florida bridges. She has 6 rod holders mounted on her aft rail for cockpit rod storage. She has collapsible outriggers and tower navigation station with joystick controls and Garmin 7607 display.
